Donations of $2 and over are fully tax deductible and you will receive a receipt from Garvan Research Foundation (the fundraising arm of the Garvan Institute) ABN 91 042 722 738.

How to arrange a donation to Garvan in lieu of flowers at a funeral
With a little notice, Garvan can provide you with personalised donation envelopes to distribute at the funeral or wake.
- Simply contact our Supporter Care Coordinator on (02) 9295 8110 or email foundation@garvan.org.au.
- We will then express post or courier the envelopes to you.
- You can collect the envelopes and send or deliver them to us, or your guests can mail them directly to us.
- 4 weeks after the funeral we will let you know the total given to Garvan in memory of your loved one.
Pressed for time?
If you are pressed for time you can also download our specially designed In Memoriam donation leaflet and personalise and print it yourself at home. The leaflet is a PDF and prints on A4 paper in colour or black and white. Simply personalise the pdf, print out the number you need, then fold twice into a leaflet.

Set up a personal In Memoriam Fundraising Page
You can also honour your loved one by setting up an ‘In Memoriam’ on-line fundraising page, personalising it with your photos and text, and sending a message out to your friends and family via email. To do this register to Create a Fundraising Page and follow the simple steps.
